Moscow Arts Commission Presents Native American Photography Exhibit

In commemoration of the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the Moscow Arts Commission will present a photo display of Faces from the Land. An opening reception is scheduled for June 16 from 5 – 8 p.m. The Marras will be present to greet attendees and sign copies of their book.

The exhibit focuses on many of the Native American cultures that Lewis and Clark encountered during their 1803 -1806 expedition, including Sioux, Lemhi Shoshone and Nez Perce. A photograph of Sacajawea's great, great, great niece, Rose Ann Abrahamson, is included in the exhibit as well as several other Nez Perce people.
